There is something wonderfully nostalgic about Easter. The warmth of a shared table, the scent of freshly baked hot cross buns drifting through the air, and sweet treats tucked into little boxes waiting to be discovered.
At Kruger Station in Skukuza, Easter is not just a day, it is a celebration of flavour, family, and the simple joy of gathering. From 30 March, the Station comes alive with seasonal bakes, deli favourites, and a special Harvest Table sharing lunch, available as our daily special for the week.
Whether you are visiting the park, spending the day exploring Skukuza, or simply craving something festive, there will be plenty to savour.
The Harvest Table (Daily Special: 30 March – 5 April)
From 30 March to 5 April, guests can enjoy our Harvest Table sharing platter for two, a generous spread of comforting classics and seasonal favourites, served as the daily special at Kruger Station.
The experience begins with fresh-baked hot cross buns served warm with cinnamon butter, alongside a selection of vibrant starters including smoked paprika devilled eggs, Cape Malay pickled hake, and a refreshing beetroot, rocket, orange and mint salad.
For mains, the table turns hearty and indulgent. Guests can enjoy slow-roasted leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary crust, served with mint jus and Yorkshire pudding, alongside sticky apricot-glazed gammon with apple and raisin chutney.
Classic harvest-style sides complete the feast:
- Fire-crisped farm potatoes with sea salt and rosemary
- Honey-roasted heirloom carrots with thyme glaze
- Slow-folded creamy morogo
- Baked cauliflower and mature cheddar gratin
And of course, no Easter meal would be complete without something sweet. Dessert features a playful selection of mini chocolate nests, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and lemon meringue tartlets.
Guests can enjoy the full Harvest Table experience for R570, or choose individual courses.

Easter Deli & Bakery Treats
Throughout Easter week, the Station’s deli and bakery counters will be filled with seasonal favourites.
Freshly baked hot cross buns will be available in both classic spiced and chocolate and orange varieties, perfect with a morning coffee or as a treat to take home.
Sweet lovers can look forward to a tempting selection of Easter bakes, including mini carrot cakes, malva pudding loaf served with caramel sauce, chocolate Easter nests, and delicate lemon meringue tartlets. A selection of whole cakes will also be available daily.
For something savoury, the deli will offer comforting favourites like spinach and feta quiche and a rich rustic oxtail pie, ideal for a quick and satisfying bite.

Cookie Decorating Kit: Ice & Enjoy
For our younger guests, Easter at Kruger Station comes with a little extra fun. The Cookie Decorating Kit invites kids to become mini bakers as they ice, decorate, and enjoy their own Easter cookies.
Each kit includes freshly baked cookies, colourful icing, and a selection of cheerful toppings, giving children the chance to get creative before enjoying their sweet masterpiece. It is a playful, hands-on treat that keeps little hands busy and big smiles on the table.
Easter Gift Boxes
If you are looking for something special to take home or share with loved ones, Kruger Station will also be offering Easter gift boxes filled with seasonal treats.
The Harvest Box includes hot cross buns, a mini carrot cake, chocolate nests, homemade preserves, and festive Easter eggs. For younger guests, the Kids Easter Box offers a delightful mix of chocolate nests, decorated cupcakes, cookies, and a chocolate egg.
These beautifully curated boxes make the perfect Easter surprise.
