Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with the compiling of the Risk assessment reports
  • Compile and communicate statistics
  • Calling of meetings and handling administrative duties
  • Obtain, distribute and keep a record of all certificates received and attendance registers from Training conducted
  • Filing of all documentation pertaining to Health and Safety, including updating of Health and Safety File
  • Record Assets and stock control and update regularly
  • Writing minutes of meetings
  • Coordinate training
  • Coordinate response to medical emergencies
  • Initiate and manage team meetings
  • Obtain various quotations from suppliers as per Health and Safety Requirements
  • Coordinate Injury On Duty processes, including “near miss” incidents, from initial investigation report, medical reports and submission to Workmans-Compensation Fund.

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in Health & Safety Management (knowledge of First Level 1 & 2 an added advantage.)
  • Letter from university/college stating that you require practical experience in order to obtain a diploma full diploma qualification
  • Experience in a position of Health and Safety would be advantageous (Health and Safety Representative)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft office)
  • Language skills
